Favorite Paw Memories:

Oh boy… My first Paw show at the old Hurricane in Westport KC. Got there pretty early and they were starting their sound check a couple hours before the show. They jumped right into Pansy and my buddies and me watched in awe as they ripped that song apart as if it were live. Afterwards, Grant came up to the bar to grab a beer and he and I struck up a conversation. I told him I’d driven up from Tulsa where I was stationed at the time while in the Marines. He was so flattered that I’d made the trek. This was my first Paw show while my buddies had seen them before in Lawrence. As the show begins Mark, as he likes to do, dedicated the WHOLE show to me! Afterwards we caught up with the band resting outside on the sidewalk and I was introduced to the whole band. Changed my life. Mark and I have cultivated a close friendship that remains strong to this day. My oldest son is named Max for Max the Silent.

Paw Wishlist:

To go back in time and secure better management at A&M and have the whole world know the talents and personalities of this great mostly, sadly, unknown band.
